The insurtech Luko multiplies acquisitions

After the takeover of the German startup Coya in January, the neoinsurer Luko has just completed the acquisition of Unkle, a start-up specializing in rental management. This operation should strengthen Luko's offer around the idea of protecting the home. Other acquisitions and a new fundraiser could be announced in the coming months.

The neo-insurer Luko continues its shopping. Two months after the acquisition of the German insurtech Coya, the start-up has just announced the takeover of Unkle, founded in 2019 and specializing in rental guarantees, a market estimated at 2 billion euros in France. This operation, in cash and securities, the amount of which is not disclosed, allows Luko to strengthen its range of services around housing.
